October 31 - Happy Halloween

The kids woke up on Halloween morning to spider webs all over the bathroom! They all thought it was pretty awesome and kept going in & out the rest of the day.

After we got ready, Bryan took the kids outside and they turned our driveway in to a Halloween masterpiece with the sidewalk chalk!

Then we came inside and wrote some Halloween stories. The kids narrated & I wrote.

Andlie also made a "spooky haunted house to tape outside & scare trick-or-treaters with."

Then we surprised the kids and took them to the movie: "Hotel Transylvania 2!" It was Nora's first time at the movies! If it weren't for the 21 minute previews, she would have done great!

Then we came home & got ready for our neighborhood Halloween Potluck Soup Party! We brought Kraft Macaroni & Cheese and it was all gone by the time we left. Win!

Then we went trick-or-treating! The kids all LOVED it. Andlie was so cute to wait for Nora to join them on the steps before she would knock. Haze made sure to wish everyone a "Happy Halloween!" And Nora was just loving every second. She was running around with her heavy bucket enjoying every single minute with a smile.

We trick-or-treated to some pretty crazy houses! We saw Cinderella & her Fairy Godmother. We had to go through a clown house with bubbles & mirrors at one house. And the very last house we trick-or-treated to was the zombie house! It's a few blocks away from our house, but we have been driving by it almost every day now for a month. Tonight, there were some zombies walking around! Andlie & Hazey loved it! Nora kept saying, "Too cared. Cute. Too cared. Go."
