March 30 - Eggs

We had to wake up kind of early this morning for Nora's doctor's appointment.  Haze helped me gently wake Andlie up.  They're sweet little friends.

Nora had her 15 month well check this morning.  She started crying the minute I set her down on the tissue paper.  And then cried even harder when the nurse came in.  Like, arching her back, mad screaming crying.  Ripped the paper tape measure the nurse was using to measure her head.  Flung her arms around.  And then gave the same show to the doctor.  And then again when the nurse came in for her shot.  I don't even think she noticed her shot because she was already super pissed that the nurse was even in the room.  She was not a fan.

15 Month Stats
Weight: 20 lb, 8.5 oz (40%)
Length: 31.5 in (81%)
Head: 47 cm (83%)

Not to worry.  She was instantly quiet and happy when she got her sucker.  I said, "Nora, do you want a sucker?"  She stopped crying immediately and said, "Ya!!!!!"

At 15 months, Nora is saying:
Hi: Hiiii
Bye: Ba-Ba
Uh-Oh: Uhh-Oh
Momma: Momma
Dadda: Dadda
Andlie: Annnnnnie
Hazey: Hay-see
Bubbles: Bub-bos
Go: Gooooooh
Shoes: Shoos
Ya: Ya
Ball: Ba
Blankie: Bay-key
Eyes: Eyes
Teeth: Teef
Splash: Spas
Baby: Bay-bee
Night-Night: Na-Na
Book: Booook
Bottle: Bopple
Grampa: Ga-pa
Wow: Wow
There ya go: De-ya-go
Thank you: Dat do

Tonight we had our Easter lesson for FHE.  We learned all about why we have Easter and discussed.  Then we watched the video of the crucifixion and resurrection and finished with the testimonies of Christ of President Packer, President Eyring, President Uchtdorf, and President Monson.  It was a beautiful lesson.

We talked about why we have eggs as a symbol of Easter: 1. Because an empty/plastic egg represents the empty tomb.  2. Because a real egg represents new life/resurrection.  Then we dyed eggs!

Bryan insisted on mocking my picture taking and looked over at me with some wonderful expressions at the last second every time I tried to take a picture of him working.

Had to snap a picture of Nora working on her eggs.

Again with the mocking....  (I love him a lot.  I love that he is pretty hilarious.)

Nora pretty much disassembled the house while we were dying eggs.  Good thing she's adorable.

March 29 - Wipe Game

Today Haze learned about the animals that Heavenly Father created.  The kids got to put up the whole Earth - creation by creation - on the flannel board!  See, he has pretty wonderful teachers.  We love Sister Fin and Sister O.  (There are benefits to having to go to Sunbeams with your little boy.  Like getting to see how wonderful his teachers are and watching him soak in the lesson.)

After church, Nora found a fun, fun game!  It's called "Pull My Wipes Out One by One."  She really had a great time!  She pulled them all out and then walked around the house "blowing her nose" and holding them up to her like she was seeing if it fit.  She earned a great time, so I let her have one for a minute before we put all the wipes in a plastic baggie.

Meanwhile, Haze found Daddy's sunglasses and was proving how much of a cool cat he really is.

And then we played with the magic no popping bubbles that Grama gave us!

When we went in to check on Nora before we went to bed, we found that she was sleeping with the baggie of wipes.  Just trying to play the sweet game she created again, I'm sure.  (I left the bag o' wipes on the changing table which is within arms reach of her crib.)  I love this picture.  Shows that she loves to discover (wipe bag), that she loves her babies (recently started carrying them around calling them "bay-bee"), that she loves her blankie, and that is is so cute and perfect.

March 28 - Saturday in Pictures

2 goals today!

Clockwise from top left: Right after she moved her mouth off the tank, Trying to grab the fishies, Pointing at the fishies, Waving to the fishies!  All the while she was squealing, giggling, and showing us what the fishie says by opening & closing her mouth!

March 27 - Pre-Summer

Summer is getting closer!  We can tell because today we:

Popped water balloons on our heads!

Lounged in our outdoor furniture!

And wore Summer shirts!

It's gonna be a good Summer.  We can feel it.

March 26 - Blessings

Today me & Nora just sat & giggled during lunch.  I laughed at her and then she laughed at me for laughing at her.  It was a fun lunchtime.

And then I asked her, "Where's your poh-poh?"  And she showed me.  And then we went back to giggling.

Tonight when Daddy came home, he happened to capture a beautiful picture of our three beautiful blessings.

March 25 - Three Kiddies

Just eatin' his lunch in the front seat of the van with no pants.  No big deal.  Life of a 3 year old.  (Don't worry - we were parked safely in the parking lot waiting for Andlie to come out from school during this pic.)

Had to wake up Nora from her nap so we could make it to Andlie's soccer game on time.  Little sweetie was SOUND asleep when I walked in.  As soon as she woke up, she was happy though.  Of course.  She is getting so big!
Andlie got some new cleats yesterday!  She was so excited to wear them to her game today!  They totally completed her ensemble.  She ran & kicked with more confidence tonight.  And even scored 4 goals!

March 24 - New Kicks

Nora wore pigtails today!

And everyone got new shoes today!  Andlie got some new soccer cleats!  She was thrilled because she's been wanting some since she started soccer 3 seasons ago.  Nora got some cute new pink shoes and some sparkly shoes.  And Hazey got some sa-weet Ninja Turtle shoes!  He picked them out himself.  And he loves them.  Apparently they make him super fast.

March 23 - Hazey

Almost a year later and it's still his bff!  Haze loves his bike.  Often, when I can't find him in the house it's because he's snuck out the door & is in the street riding his bike.  He is fearless too.  He goes on & off curbs and as fast as his little legs will carry him.  One of his favorite things to do on his bike is to "brace!"  (Race.)  He is always asking, "Mom, should we brace?"  His training wheels are pretty worn and I'm pretty sure he could ride without them.  He has said a couple of times, "Mom, remember when I was little and I muse to not have training wheels on?"  He's a pretty cute boy.  We're blessed that he's ours.

He made a 3 with his pretzel!  He knows all of his numbers up to 10 and all of his ABCs and can spell and write his name all by himself!  He is getting excited for "when he turns to 4 so he can go to preschool."

March 22 - Grama & Grampa Visit

So thankful for such wonderful Sunbeams teachers!  Here they are: crawling around like turtles, fishing, under the table like Jonah in the whale, fishie/Jell-o treats!

Andlie looked so cute in her new Sunday dress!

We got a real treat this afternoon - Grama & Grampa and Bryce came to visit!  (Grama & Grampa were on their way home from Idaho.)  They brought us lots of fun surprises!  Our favorite was the bubbles that didn't pop!  (And my favorite was the Easter wreath!)

After a few minutes playing with the magic bubbles, we played with other things outside.  Andlie headed over to her happy place.  Bryce & Grampa followed.  Grampa caught this awesome pic.

Then we headed to the park!  Grampa even climbed a tree with Andlie and Bryce while we were there!

And Nora had fun going on the slide.  She loves it!  I set her at the top & say, "Ready, set," and she says, "GO!!!!"  She also enjoyed petting the stray dog while we were there.  She loves dogs and immediately pointed & said, "Ooof!  Ooof!" when she saw him.  And then she walked up to him, pointed again, and said, "Beau."  All dogs = Beau.

March 21 - Family Outing

The Fire Ladybugs had their first game this morning!  Andlie scored 1 goal and came close to 2 others!  She also blocked several goals from the other team!  She did a great job and it was fun to be on the soccer field again!  Exceeeeeept......Nora is MUCH busier this season!  She walked around her new playground and out on the field and dug stuff out of the diaper bag and stole some treats and had so much fun!

After we came home & had some lunch and naps and some playtime outside, we got in the van & headed to some fun stores!
