March 30 - Eggs

We had to wake up kind of early this morning for Nora's doctor's appointment.  Haze helped me gently wake Andlie up.  They're sweet little friends.

Nora had her 15 month well check this morning.  She started crying the minute I set her down on the tissue paper.  And then cried even harder when the nurse came in.  Like, arching her back, mad screaming crying.  Ripped the paper tape measure the nurse was using to measure her head.  Flung her arms around.  And then gave the same show to the doctor.  And then again when the nurse came in for her shot.  I don't even think she noticed her shot because she was already super pissed that the nurse was even in the room.  She was not a fan.

15 Month Stats
Weight: 20 lb, 8.5 oz (40%)
Length: 31.5 in (81%)
Head: 47 cm (83%)

Not to worry.  She was instantly quiet and happy when she got her sucker.  I said, "Nora, do you want a sucker?"  She stopped crying immediately and said, "Ya!!!!!"

At 15 months, Nora is saying:

Tonight we had our Easter lesson for FHE.  We learned all about why we have Easter and discussed.  Then we watched the video of the crucifixion and resurrection and finished with the testimonies of Christ of President Packer, President Eyring, President Uchtdorf, and President Monson.  It was a beautiful lesson.

We talked about why we have eggs as a symbol of Easter: 1. Because an empty/plastic egg represents the empty tomb.  2. Because a real egg represents new life/resurrection.  Then we dyed eggs!

Bryan insisted on mocking my picture taking and looked over at me with some wonderful expressions at the last second every time I tried to take a picture of him working.

Had to snap a picture of Nora working on her eggs.

Again with the mocking....  (I love him a lot.  I love that he is pretty hilarious.)

Nora pretty much disassembled the house while we were dying eggs.  Good thing she's adorable.
