October 29 - Watch DOG & Halloween Program

Daddy got to be a Watch DOG at school today!  Andlie has been anxiously waiting for this day for weeks!  She helped Daddy pick today because it is during her Super Surfer week.  She woke up at 7:00 this morning and excitedly reminded Daddy that today was the day!  I snapped a couple pictures before the two stooges left for school.

Andlie thought it was the best day ever at school!  She couldn't stop talking about all of the cool things Daddy did at school today.  He watched over the kids and helped with reading and whatever else Miss Carter needed help with.  But most importantly, he teased the kids and played tag with them and was the cool Dad.  Andlie loved every single minute he was there.  Bryan had a great day too.  They're already planning when he can do it again.

Meanwhile, Haze was at home painting my face.  He painted it to be a "dragon."

And then he painted his own to match.

Today was Haze's Halloween program at school!  Andlie & Daddy came over right from the school to watch!  He sang so good and had a big grin on his face the entire time.  They recited a few poems too.  One of the poems had a big shout of, "BOO!" at the end and Haze totally loved that - especially since I jumped.  He did so good and was so much fun to watch.

After his program, me & Andlie went to the school to pick up her Reflections artwork.  While we were there, I had her take me to her classroom so we could see her pumpkin.  Pretty cute if ya ask me!

Then Andlie got excited because Mindy sent her a text saying there were only 6 million seconds until Christmas!

And then Grama & Grampa came to our house on their way to Idaho!  Grama brought us some monster fingers to eat and some ghost poop to dip them in.  She's the best Grama!

They brought us the kids' Christmas dresses/outfits from Granny.  Of course, Nora had to try on & show off her dress as soon as she saw it.  (This dress is part of her daily attire now...)

Then I made dinner.  I had to chop onions to go in the meatloaf.  Watery eyes problem solved.

Then we painted Andlie's nails for Halloween!

And then Haze painted Daddy's face to look like Frankenstein!

Phew!  What a busy day we had!  But it was full of wonderful, happy things!
