We had a wonderful night at the temple tonight! The flowers were so colorful and beautiful! The kids had fun rolling down hills and running around and walking on pathways! It was a wonderful way to spend a Sunday evening!
Until.....
1. Haze started drinking water from the sidewalk. I mean, he was literally on his hands & knees licking the sidewalk.
2. Nora stomped around in said water and finally just plopped right down & sat in the water & got her clothes all wet.
3. Andlie was playing "balance beam" & fell off a 5 foot wall in to a patch of thorny bushes. She had two big scratches/wall burns, several thorns stuck in her, little hives/welts where the thorns had poked her, and a devastated little ego. Fixed her right up with a bath, some Benadryl, & some snuggling when we got home.
But other than that, it was a great night at the temple! Here are the "before" pictures...
