Poor Andlie stayed home from school today with a hideous sore throat and an upset tummy. Hazey & Nora sure enjoyed it!
We took Andlie to the doc where she was tested for Strep Throat (negative) and diagnosed with a virus. Dang it! Poor girl!!
On our way home, we got some Cafe Rio to eat at home. Nora was having a hard time getting the beans with her spoon, so she took matters in to her own hands.
The afternoon was quite boring for a busy 1st grader who was stuck at home. She & Haze got door-bell ditched once by Simon & Piers, so they decided to make "a trap just like on 'Home Alone'!" This trap included tied together pipe cleaners, threatening notes, and a toy gun taped behind some toilet paper (to hide it, duh).
Andlie has been trying to keep hydrated all day. Lucky for her, we've got some fun cups for that.
And finally our Christmas elf, Icabod, came last night! Hopefully he's hiding in our Christmas decorations boxes.....
