Icabod Update:
Today was pajama day at school. Andlie wanted to wear her Summer jammies, but it was way too cold so we came up with a solution!
Nora came in to our room while I was working out and made herself comfy on my pillows. She was also sure to remember to bring in Merida and Merida's stroller and a blankie (Christmas throw) for Merida. And she's wearing her Rapunzel dress. Classic Nora.
Grampa sent us some riddles to figure out. "Copycat" and then "Mouse Trap." So we had to send some of our own back. "Milkshake" and then "Poster Child." We are so funny.
Cute Hazey man fell asleep this afternoon. He's such a sweet, darling boy.
He also played his own version of Plants vs Zombies. He colored, cut out, and glued the plants all by himself! He is getting so big!
Cute Nora loves Christmas. She's been so interested in and excited for every part of the Christmas celebration. Last night, she needed a little snuggle at about 11:30 pm. I just sat & rocked her in the chair in the quiet house. And she kept talking to me about Christmas. "Angels. Baby Jesus. Momma hold him. Jesus have a blankie. He cold. Do you like angels? Christmas tree." She is the sweetest girl and her sweet spirit adds so much to our home and family.
Andlie got a book from her teacher for Christmas so naturally, she read it us like we were her class. She had us all find a seat on the floor in front of her and then read the book and showed us each picture as she read. She's getting to be such a good reader! We are so proud of her! We think she'll make a wonderful teacher some day.
