February 16 - Headbands

I love how she drinks her bottle - with one hand at the top keeping it sturdy & straight in her mouth.  That girl can pound a bottle like nobody's business.  She can totally do it on her own too, but I love snuggling her while she does it because if she sits on my lap, she kicks my arm with her little fat foot and visits me with her eyes.

Speaking of Nora, she has discovered big girl headbands.  And she loves them.  She loves putting them on & taking them off all day long.  And she thinks she's quite pretty when she does have it on.  And I agree.

When I was little, Granny told me that if I kissed my elbow, I'd turn into a boy.  I spent a lot of time trying to prove her right.  And now I've passed the secret along to Andlie.  And she has passed it to her entire class.  And I think it's hilarious.

We finished the night off by taking some sugar cookies to our Primary teachers.  Andlie did a great job decorating them.  (Hazey stayed away during decorating because of his dumb cough.)

February 15 - Temple Tour

We went on a Temple Tour with Grama & Grampa Puppy today!

First stop: Provo City Center Temple.  It's been neat to watch construction.  The fire that destroyed the building was in December 2010, the temple announcement was in October 2011, and the groundbreaking ceremony was in May 2012.  Since we moved here in March 2012, we've seen the entire construction process.  We're excited to see the finished product!

Next stop: Provo Temple!  We had a great time playing on the grounds - especially in the fountains.  The fountains are something new to Nora and she could not get enough!  She kept pointing & begging to go back & put her little hand in the water.

And the last stop on our tour was the Timpanogos Temple - my favorite in our little area.  Grampa, Bryan, Andlie, and Hazey walked the entire perimeter of the temple while Grama, Nora, Beau, and I stayed in the cars and visited.  Nora got too wiggly for the car after a while, so I took her out and we played on the grass until everyone got back.  She thought it was hilarious to pull grass and then watch it blow out of her hands.

What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday!  We are blessed to be near so many beautiful temples.  It was also a great ending to a wonderful week filled with family visiting.  We are truly blessed.  Our families are perfect.

February 14 - Valentine's Day

Woke up & gave the kids their little Valentines gifts from us.  Then the girls went outside for a little Valentine's Day heart outfits photo shoot.

Little Hazey stayed inside because he had thrown up a few times.  Poor boy.

Bryan & I exchanged gifts after that.  He got a tennis T-shirt and I got a gel nail kit!

After naps & Haze was feeling better, we took Grama, Grampa, and Beau to Riverwoods and played for a while.  We played the monster truck video game, walked around, went to the chocolate store, and played a game of mini bowling.  Then we came home, watched a show, and went to bed.  It was a very low key Valentine's Day.  We were kind of bummed that Haze was sick and it was a busy day and not the Valentine's Day we had hoped for, but at the end of the day, we realized that we are blessed to have so much love & happiness in our home.

February 13 - Monster Jam

Today was Valentine's Day at school!  Andlie wore her heart shirt, pink shoes, Valentine's necklace from Grama & Grampa, and pink glasses!  And to top it all off, she wore heart braids in her hair!  She was pretty thrilled with how it turned out!  (And so was I!)

After Mommy & Hazey helped in Andlie's classroom with their Valentine's party, it was time to come home & get ready for Monster Jam with Grampa Puppy!!  (Grama, Grampa, & Beau arrived last night!)

While Andlie, Haze, Daddy, and Grampa were at Monster Jam, Grama, Mommy, Nora, and Beau had a great time shopping, eating, visiting, and laughing at home!  Nora's new BFF is Beau.  She LOVES him.  She looked for him every second.  Waved to him when he was around.  And even learned to say, "Beh!"

Meanwhile, the gang was having a great time at Monster Jam!  Though Haze was a bit disappointed that he didn't get to drive the trucks, he cheered up by the end and had a great time!  Andlie loved it!  She was dancing around trying to get on the Jumbotron the entire time.  Andlie scored some Kettle Corn, Haze scored a monster truck stuffed animal and a zombie monster truck.  And they both scored a Monster Jam T-shirt from Grampa!  (Daddy too!)

Haze has been telling anyone who would listen that he was "going to monster trucks and it was gonna be REALLY COOL!!!!!" since we talked about going at Christmas!  It was fun for everyone to finally be there!!

February 12 - So Long

Grama & Grampa left yesterday night.  And then Mandy, Tim, & Daisey left this afternoon.  We were so sad to see everyone leave!  Of course we had to take a picture (or 35) of everyone before they headed out.

Mandy left a really cute note for Andlie since they left while she was at school.  Andlie came home, read the note, and promptly replied.  Her note reads, "So cuuuuute!  I love you!  Love, Andlie - - Come here again!"  Pretty much sums up how much we love our Mandy, Tim, & Daisey.

February 11 - Grama & Grampa & Bryce & Daisey & Mand & Tim

We were so happy to have Grama & Grampa and Bryce here with us last night & all day today!

We walked/biked Andlie to school.
Grama & Grampa got to meet Mrs. Sell and see Andlie's classroom!
We played at the park.
We read books.
We had naps & hung out.
We had a fun, happy, sunshiney day together!

Nora loved the swings at the park!

We came home to relax for a minute & Haze grabbed the silly putty.  Silly putty is fun.

After Grama & Grampa left and Mandy & Tim returned, I had to go to Activity Days really quick.  For our activity tonight, we put up the new Primary bulletin board for our ward.  I made all of the people, letters, and flowers and I have to say that I'm pretty proud of it!

February 10 - Tending Daisey

We had so much fun with Daisey today!  Daisey & Hazey are really cute, happy friends!  They giggled, held hands, barked like puppies, and ran around while Andlie was at school!

After Andlie got home from school, she started reading to Daisey & Haze.  Daisey quickly changed that.  She took the book & started reading to Andlie!

This afternoon after Mand & Tim left, we had a piano party.  Nora helped with the piano.  And loved every second.

Then we rode bikes outside.  They were a biker gang!

And then they turned into a mean biker gang.  This is my favorite picture of the day!
