Icabod Update: For his last day visiting us, Icabod brought us a letter and some presents! The kids were so excited! This afternoon, they noticed that Icabod had disappeared from the tree and left our house until next year. They were all pretty bummed. Especially sweet Hazey. Icabod has been a fun tradition for the entire family this year!

We made sure to wear our Christmas clothes on Christmas Eve!

Andlie was so sad about Icabod leaving and so thankful for the fun he had at our house this year that she wrote him a good-bye letter. Haze followed suit.

We spent a lot of the day checking the Santa tracker on the computer to see where Santa was!

And we read the book that Icabod left for the family. Nora Jane loves books. Just like her brother & sister.

Christmas Calendar Day 24: Then we frosted cookies for Santa!

Nora discovered sprinkles today. She's a fan.

Hazey added a few more cookies after we were done. He had a lot of fun putting frosting in a baggie and squishing it out like Easy Cheese.

While Nora napped, Mommy cleaned up the house and Daddy took Andlie & Hazey sledding!
After Nora woke up, we turned on "The Nutcracker." To put it lightly, she was mesmerized. She kept saying, "I watching Princess Nutcracker!"

After our traditional Christmas Eve dinner of ham, cheesy potatoes, corn, and rolls, we opened our Christmas Eve gifts. Each kid got their traditional Christmas jammies!
Andlie let us open her gift to us too. It was a new ornament with her hand print on it!
Christmas Calendar Day 24: Next we read the Christmas story from Luke 2. And then we looked at pictures of the Nativity.
Next we went on a ride to look at lights one more time before Christmas. And then we came home & got ready for Santa to come! We made sure to leave the magic key for Santa to get in our house, some cookies, and some carrots for the reindeer.
I snuck one more peek at Santa's tracker on the computer at 12:12 and saw that he was in Salt Lake City!

Which was very accurate because I snuck a peek at our living room about an hour later and Santa had come! What a wonderful Christmas Eve!
