Drove to Panaca to spend some time with our Allen family today. We left shortly after Sacrament meeting and arrived in Panaca around 3:30 pm (NV time).
Nora was the only kid who didn't take a snooze. Not even a tiny one. And she did pretty good! As long as we kept her princess shows on and her snacks stocked. Towards the end, she started getting antsy. So I played a game with her. She'd close her eyes and I'd say, "Oh no! Did Nora fall asleep?!" And then she'd belly laugh and squeal and open her eyes!
When we got to Panaca, we sat and visited for a minute and then it was time to exchange/open Christmas gifts!
After presents, we had dinner. Bryan brought his hot sauce from Louisiana. Naturally, all the brothers had to give it a try. And the Dad (not pictured).
After dinner, it was time for a par-tay! We celebrated Nora's 2nd birthday, Andlie's 7th birthday, and Graeson's 2nd birthday! We had a cake for each birthday kid and we sang and then the birthday kids opened some more presents!
Nora about died over her princess cake. Parenting win.
Andlie LOVES brownies. Cake - no so much. Brownies. Yes. She'll take the entire pan please. She really loved her cake too.
I put up some decorations for my birthday girls.
Phew! After our day full of partying, we took some time to wind down & relax with the family. Bryan went to the back room & listened to Grama Puppy play her guitar(s) and sing some songs. Both of them had a great time.
