March 20 - Things Going Right

I gave Andlie & Hazey a bag of dry cereal to snack on this morning.  When I gave some to Nora, she thought she was pretty big stuff.  She walked around with a big ol' grin sticking her fat little hands in the bag and snapping the cereal up with her mouth.  She thought she owned the house!  (And she usually does.)

I took Nora & Haze with me and went to a craft boutique with some friends this afternoon.  I ate some of the most delicious cinnamon rolls I've ever eaten there!  And I loved this cute little sign that I found.  I am so blessed!

March 19 - Springtime

Why is the sky so blue and clear?

Why is the robin's song so dear?

Why is the sun so warm and bright,

Filling the earth with glorious light?

Why are the fields so green today?

Why do the clouds all float away?

Why does my heart with gladness sing?

Only because it's spring!

 - Springtime is Coming

It's Springtime in Orem and I LOVE it!

Nora does too.  That's why she is smiling on cue for the camera.

And since it's Spring, we got our Easter baskets out this afternoon.  Haze was super duper helpful.  Boys always are.

Andlie joined in on the fun!  And then she promptly cleaned her grass up and separated it from the green grass and put her basket high on the piano so the grass couldn't escape again.

March 18 - On Cue

 I got my hair done last night!  I got home at 1:30 am, but it was worth it because I love it!

I had to snap a picture of Nora in her cute little skirt before she went outside.  Because once she does that, cute outfit time is over.  It quickly turns to dirty, wet, dirt-in-her diaper outfit.

Hazey had some red juice for lunch today and it turned it tongue red!  He had fun for a good 10 minutes checking himself out in the mirror.  Cute boy.

Nora figured out how to get to the chocolate in her coin today!  She carried it around all day again and when it was close to bedtime, I noticed that she had chocolate face.  She had chewed a hole in the coin and was sucking the chocolate out through it!  Smart girl if ya ask me.  Since she worked so hard to get to the good stuff, I let her finish before I took it away.

 

Aaaaaand she learned to smile on cue tonight!!  It's the cutest ever.

March 17 - St. Patrick's Day

The kids woke up this morning to find a rainbow woven throughout our house!  They had to follow it to find the pots of gold!

They had so much fun following the rainbow up & down the furniture and in & out of closets!

After they filled their tummies with chocolate gold coins, they had to show me their muscles.  Strong arms on the left.  Strong legs on the right.  [Giggle giggle.]

Of course we had to do some awesome clover hair for St. Patty's!

Nora carried her gold coins around all day.  She would only put them down to eat.  While she was eating this morning, Hazey sat by her & watched.  He kept saying, "Mom, Nora is such a cute little baby girl, huh?  Look at her tiny little soft head.  She's cute, Momma."

And before we took Andlie to school & got messy having fun & playing, we took a quick picture in our green!  We had green milk for breakfast, green juice for lunch, and green waffles for dinner.  Happy St. Patrick's Day!

March 16 - Welcome, Liam!

Nora has learned how to say, "shoes!"  When she makes the "s-h" noise, her lips pucker out really big.  I love it and if it was up to me, she'd be saying "shoes" with her little lip pucker all day long.

Hazey knows how to spell and write his own name!  He's getting better & better every day!

He has also learned how much fun it is to type letters on the computer.  He told me, "Mom, you go upstairs.  I'm gonna type some letters."

The most exciting thing that happened today was that little Liam was born!  We are so excited to have another cousin!  Andlie wrote Liam a message: "Are you a newborn baby?  Can I hold you, Liam?!"

Finished our Monday with some swimming for FHE!

March 15 - Playing Outside

Someone looks like a big girl in her new Sunday outfit!

After church, we played outside!  It was such a beautiful day!  Andlie & Haze rode bikes & blew bubbles.  Meanwhile, Nora just toted the big bottle of bubbles around.

I told Andlie & Haze that they could have a cookie if they smiled as big as they could.  They definitely got their cookie.

Nora LOVES the sandbox.  We introduced her to it today and she played in it for a solid hour and only stopped because we pulled her out to go on a walk.  I love that our kids love being & playing outside!  And I love that it's getting warm enough to do that!

March 14 - Jump On It

We went to the trampoline park today!  It was during Nora's nap time, so she spent a lot of the time just lying down on the bouncy trampoline snuggled up next to Daddy while Andlie & Haze bounced & bounced!

After some napping & playing at home, we went shopping.  Andlie tried on this hat & looked so darling!

 

We had a very relaxing, full Saturday as a family!  It was a wonderful day.
