June 23 - While Mom is Away

While Mom is away....

.....the kids - and Daddy - will play!  Daddy helped Andlie & Hazey set up a giant shoe pile so they could try driving Haze's new remote control truck over the top.  Daddy is the best.

Bath time tonight was made more fun with another one of Haze's birthday presents - bath paints!  Andlie & Haze had fun painting all over the bathtub and walls!

While we were winding down for the night, Nora took her babies on a stroll.  She packed the stroller with: 3 babies, 1 dog purse, 2 baby bottles, a Minnie Mouse baby, and 2 blankies (1 not pictured).  It's important to have all of the items stacked in the stroller.  And it's important to have bottles & blankies prepared always.  She's the best.

June 22 - Seven Peaks

Hazey had fun playing with his new birthday toys from Cedar City today!  Haze loves to visit Cedar City, but he LOVES to be at his own house.  He was so happy to be home today.

Andlie had fun playing with one of her new toys today too!  (Our kids are spoiled in Cedar.)  She made a new bracelet with her new jewelry making kit!

Tonight for FHE, we went to Seven Peaks for the first time this Summer!  We had a great time splashing and jumping and going down slides!  As soon as we walked in to the park, Nora went crazy with her pointing and kept saying, "Batie bat.  Hot."  (Translation: Bathie bath.  Hot.)  We are excited to go back again soon!

June 21 - Day 5

Went to church with Grama.  Once Nora found Grampa on the stand, she could not stop pointing him out, shouting, "Ga-pa!" and waving vigorously at him.  Andlie went & sung Father's Day songs with the Primary kids.

Had Sunday dinner with Jack & Bret.

Played outside one last time while Mommy packed the car.

Took some fun pics.

Said our good-byes.  Grama & Mommy cried.

Drove home.

Saw Daddy!!!!!!!!!

Andlie had a raging headache, chills, and was so hot.  Gave her some Tylenol, a cold-ish shower, and lots of Pedialite.  She felt better.

We had a WONDERFUL time in Cedar City!  We are so blessed and lucky to have such a wonderful family - and especially a wonderful Grama & Grampa. 

We are so happy to be home and with Daddy again!

June 20 - Day 4

Haze woke up almost  hive free!

Andlie jumped on the trampoline with the sprinkler underneath!

Played in our beloved back yard.  Nora loved the car and the little slide.  So much.

Grampa opened his Father's Day gifts from us!  And then used his new knife to cut some arm hairs off so he could prove how sharp it was.  (Bryan predicted this would happen from the second we bought him a knife.) 

Went to the park for a minute but it was too hot so we left.

Had lunch at Granny's house and then played in the pool and with the doggies.

Andlie snuggled up to Grampa.  I could tell she wasn't feeling well.

Andlie got a headache so we gave her Tylenol and then her & Grama took a nap in the cool living room with the fan and a rag on her head.

Mommy & Haze did some puzzles while everyone else was sleeping!

Picked up some Brad's Food Hut food for Mommy (taquitos, munches, a water, and lots of white sauce) and headed to the splash pad again!  This time we were smart & wore swimsuits and water shoes!  Shennie & Mindy came too.

Went & got snow cones again!

Played at the park.

Went to Granny's house to see all of her flowers lit up!  Took some pictures with Granny while we were there.

Bathtime.

Bed time!  Hazey slept downstairs with Mommy again.  Andlie woke up in the middle of the night with diarrhea and threw up a little bit.  Grama tenderly helped her  and showered her and washed her clothes and made her feel a little bit better.

June 19 - Day 3

Haze woke up with hives and they got progressively worse through the day.  Dangit!  Mommy DIDN'T panic (woah) and Benadryl and a blessing from Grampa & Bret and prayers from many helped him get better.

Watched Grampa's famous brow furrow after she lectured Annie.

Got snow cones!

Played in the splash pad!

Haze, Nora, and Mommy stayed home while Andlie & Grama went to the park and Grampa's work.

I fixed the "Shrine to Bret" and added some portraits of the other three children.

Me & Grama used her Mother's Day gift from us and we shellacked our toes.

Went to the Stake Presidency BBQ and met Grampa's church friends.

Haze "slept" in Mommy's room.  (We didn't go to sleep until 4 am.  He was too wiggly and itchy and uncomfy.)  His hives spread to his face & Mommy spent lots of the night with a flashlight on his face checking on him.

Andlie laid out on the trampoline with Grama & Grampa and looked at stars until 11 pm!  I joined them for a few minutes.  Andlie looked up in the sky & said, "Hey, there's a pan in the sky!"  (Big Dipper)  We had fun visiting and giggling and looking at the sky together.  Andlie really, really, really wanted to sleep out, but the adults bummed out.  Next time for sure.

Nora only likes to eat snow cones BY HERSELF.
