I made some cookies in preparation for Andlie's birthday party tonight. Nora really wanted to know what was going on, but she didn't want to get too close to the loud machine.

We also prepared the games. We played:
Eat the Donut (Tied the donuts on a pole & had a contest to see who could eat their donut first without touching it with their hands.)
Decorate the Pillow (Busted out Sharpies & stencils and let everyone decorate a pillowcase.)
Hot Pillowcase (Our version of "Hot Potato," except every time the music stopped, the person who was holding the pillow got to pick a candy out of the pillowcase.)
Cereal Necklace (Made necklaces out of Fruit Loops & yarn.)

This year was Andlie's very first friend birthday party and she was SO EXCITED! She chose the theme - Rainbow Pajama Party!
Everyone came in their jammies!

Cookies instead of cake! Andlie LOVED every second of her party!
Too bad we couldn't fully enjoy it with her because around 9:00 tonight, Haze started getting an itchy rash (which we thought was Measles) and was super sad. Daddy slept downstairs with Haze. Andlie slept upstairs with Mommy & Nora. We got pretty worried about little Hazey because his face was quite swollen and the little rash quickly turned to hives. It was a long, hard night for everyone, but especially for our sweet little boy.
Daddy gave him a blessing right away and we summoned the prayers of our family. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.
