January 5 - Birthday Girl

Woke up to decorations!

Ate her #6 pancake on the "You Are Special" plate.

Nora got to eat a #1 pancake since she didn't get to on her birthday.

Got ready for school in one of her new shirts and her new "Frozen" watch.  Mommy let her wear the "Birthday Girl" pin.
At school she passed out treats - fruit snacks & a small magnifying glass (her choice).

She "got kinda sad at school because Mrs. Sell wasn't there," but we cheered her right up at home by building a birthday snowman!

And eating ice cream in our undies!

When Daddy came home from work, he came with some special flowers just for the birthday girl!  She was so excited & proud!

Then we opened presents!  That girl got SPOILED!

And then we went to Red Robin for her birthday dinner - also her choice!  She said she wanted a "sweet grilled cheese from Red Robins," so that is where we went.

And we sang to her!  And then she got a free sundae!

Cake time at home was next!  No cake again.  Brownies this time!

I thought I knew what love was. And then the doctor put her on my chest and I almost exploded with happiness, joy, and overwhelming love. She gave me the name of Mommy. She stole my heart that day. And her sassy, witty, smarty pants, giggly, stubborn, independent, sweet little self has stolen it over and over again now for SIX years! Happy birthday, Bug! We love you clear to the sun and back.
